Del Monte Adds New Flavor to Bubble Fruit Pop-Up Snack Cups: Tropical Mixed Fruit

Del Monte Foods has expanded its line of popping boba snacks with a new flavor – Tropical Mixed Fruit Bubble Fruit, according to RP Newswire.
First of all, what exactly is popping boba? The popping boba has a thin gel-like skin with juice inside that bursts with a touch of flavor when squeezed. The main ingredients are water, sugar, fruit juice, and seaweed extract, among other things needed to shape the liquid into spongy spheres. Boba popping is known as a complementary food in bubble tea and on frozen yogurt.
A one-of-a-kind snacking experience, the popping boba snack line features chunks of real fruit with a burst of boba burst with every bite. In addition to this new flavor, the snacking line (launched last year) includes peach and strawberry lemonade, pear and pomegranate, and sour apple watermelon.
Tropical Mixed Fruit Bubble Fruit is a kid-friendly, pre-portioned snack that provides a full serving of 100% real fruit.
Unlike the popping boba that can be found in frozen yogurts or popular tea shops, bubble fruit does not contain any artificial colors or artificial sweeteners. The new flavor contains 0 grams of fat and only 60 calories. It’s now available nationwide at select retailers including Giant, Target, Wegmans, Walmart, and Weis.
Whether kids are learning at home or in the classroom, these fun fruit cups give kids something to look forward to every day.
