INVL Asset Management, a subsidiary of Invalda INVL,
The Bank of Lithuania has approved the launch of the INVL Partner Global Infrastructure Fund I, a sub-fund managed by INVL Asset Management, one of the leading asset management companies in Lithuania. The new sub-fund will invest in an infrastructure asset fund established by a world-class fund manager that has been in existence for 26 years.
âGlobal infrastructure is an attractive asset class with the characteristic of inflation protection. A portfolio diversified both geographically and in terms of deal size, predictable income streams, a stable regulatory environment, quality credit rating and ESG leadership all foster the pursuit of meaningful returns for investors, âsays Vytautas Plunksnis, Head of Private Equity at INVL Asset Management.
He notes that the INVL is always on the lookout for new ideas in alternative investments and seeks to give Baltic investors the opportunity to invest in world-class funds that would normally be difficult for them to access due to requirements. high financials. The creation of a fund of this type is therefore an important step which opens the door for investors to a new investment niche.
The strategy for investing in infrastructure assets is based on very long-term investments and high-quality basic infrastructure in member states of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Much of the portfolio consists of assets such as toll roads, pipelines, airports and seaports and product terminals.
When investing, great attention is paid to environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. The manager is a signatory of the Principles for Responsible Investment and hopes to achieve zero net carbon emissions by 2050.
The initial offering of the INVL Partner Global Infrastructure Fund I has also started. In Lithuania, the brokerage firm INVL Finasta distributes the units of the fund, with a minimum investment amount of 145,000 USD. While the total duration of the fund is 50 years, opportunities for investors to make their investments earlier are considered.
